Filter Media

Protopond.com offers Filter Media, including pond filtration equipment for capturing debris, supporting biological treatment, and maintaining clearer, healthier water. Protopond carries EasyPro filter floss packed as two cubic feet in a mesh bag, plus Ultimate Floating Media in one or 3.5 cubic-foot volumes. Filter floss serves mechanical filtration by catching fine particles, while floating media is intended for biological stages where moving water and oxygen support microbial activity. They solve different needs and should not be substituted without checking the filter design. Compare pond volume, fish load, flow rate, plumbing size, media capacity, cleaning access, and pump compatibility.
